Assignment Instructions: Read the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) framework described in chapter 17 of the textbook attachment and the Foxconn Case Study (the case study is on the following pages of this document). Apply the CSR framework to the Foxconn case study and answer the following questions.

1. Do you think Foxconn was responsible for the series of worker suicides? Why or why not?
2. Using the framework provide in Table 17.2 (see link attachment labeled Table 17-2), how would you characterize Foxconn’s strategic response (i.e., reactive, defensive, accommodative, proactive) to the environmental pressures it faced? Explain you answers briefly.
